Thank you for visiting — and holding dear — the Shamrock Lodgettes for so many years. We have appreciated your business. While the motel has closed, this beautiful oceanfront setting remains and wonderful changes are ahead.
This property was first developed in the 1940s, with construction of the Sherwood Lodge. Over the years, the operation expanded to include lodgette cabins, motel rooms, new cabins, a spa and sauna. While nostalgic and charming, the Lodgettes were loved and enjoyed to the extent of their utility and safety, and the motel closed in November 2009. It’s now time again for change, with the creation of KOHO.
Located at the edge of the Pacific Ocean and at the mouth of the Yachats River, KOHO will feature one, two and three-level oceanfront townhomes. Tucked between forested hills and the dramatic shore, each home will offer ocean views and easy access to the best beach in town.
Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2010.
